Chandrasen (Krishna) Oolaghen

– ATTORNEY AT LAW –

Krishna read Law at University of Mauritius. He successfully completed the Law Practitioners Examinations (Attorney Stream) in 2018 and was admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in Mauritius in February 2020.

He joined Sewraj Solicitors as an Associate in August 2020 after having previously worked in a management company as an In-House Attorney during which time he developed skills in corporate advisory and transactional matters.

His core activities at the firm include litigation work in the fields of company, insolvency, financial services, employment and civil law. He has a keen interest in financial services and arbitration. He is regularly involved in the preparation of cases, the drafting of pleadings to be filed before the different courts of Mauritius and the drafting of legal opinions relating to issues mainly arising under the Financial Services Act and Securities Act.
